Treeton
Cricket Club recently played host to a local Kwik
cricket competition between local junior schools
and a thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all.
Treeton
Chairman Keith Haynes commented: “We were
delighted to host a competition to involve school
children from the local area. There were a lot
of smiling faces all day with the children seeming
to thoroughly enjoy themselves during their time
spent at the Club.
I would
like to thank the children, teachers and parents
from all of the schools which participated and
would also like to thank everyone else who attended
and was involved in making the day a great success
and a good representation of our wonderful cricket
club.”
The
standings from the Kwik Cricket competition were
as follows:
1st - Aston Hall J&I School
2nd - Aston C of E Primary
3rd - Aughton Primary
4th - Fence Primary
5th - Swallownest Primary
6th - Aston Lodge Primary
7th - Treeton C of E Primary
