Treeton CC will be bidding to defend their South Yorkshire Twenty20 title when they play their first game of the 2009 competition against a very strong looking Wath outfit.

Treeton were victorious in the inaugral competition in 2008 and with what can be considered an even stronger side this time around, failure to re-gain the trophy will be seen as a huge disappointment.

Their defence will begin on Monday 29th June at Sheffield United CC & Sheffield Hallam University's joint ground at Bawtry Road and the start will be 6pm. The game is effectively a Quarter Final match and the winners will progress through to the Finals day where the Semi's and finals will be played.
