Treeton have successfully managed to recruit all-rounder Ben Ashdown for the 2009 season from Derbyshire Premier League outfit Spondon CC.

Ben has been a consistent performer with both bat and ball for Spondon, the Club he has played for all his life but is now living in South Yorkshire so the Club moved quickly to recruit him thanks to a little assistance from Treeton's very own Indian import Manjinder Mudhar.

Ben joins Stuart Guy who has also re-joined the Club for 2009 from Rotherham Town. The Club are also hopeful of completing the signing of an overseas player anytime soon.
