Treeton Cricket Club's 1st XI team added to their South Yorkshire Cricket League Premier Division title by being awarded the 'Senior team of the year' award at the 2009 Rotherham Sports Awards recently.

The 1st XI regained the Premier Division crown for the first time since 2006 and in the process achieved the highest points tally in the Leagues history.
